I find myself isolating a lot lately.  Feeling down and out - not feeling like myself.  They tell me to get up and get going to get out of this funk!  Easier said than done.  There is no such thing as a "happy" pill that gets you up and about.  Being disabled adds to my isolation and low mood, and mood swings.  I undergo counseling, but it doesn't seem to be working very well lately.  Maybe speaking with others that feel this way, we can find a way to feel better.  Write me when you can.

Lost and Alone

Has anyone out there ever been a Mystery Shopper?  I recently was notified that I had been selected to be one in my area.  I find it hard to be trustful of such notifications.  Has anyone got any experience in Mystery Shopping??

My name is Cheryl and a friend told me about this website.  I would like to be of support to others, for this also helps me in life.  I am a disabled/retiree with time on her hands.  I do suffer from Vertigo (balance disorder), but am successfully treating my condition.  For a long periods of time all I could do was lay in bed because I was too dizzy and ill to stand or walk.  I could not even carry on a conversation with someone.  I could not drive or fully care for myself.  My life experiences may be of help to others and I wish to share my experience, strength and hope. 

I have just come off a weekend of volunteer work at a free dental clinic.  It was such a humbling and heart-warming rewarding experience that I can hardly wait for the next one.  Two years ago there was no way I would have been able to do any of the work I did this past weekend.  I truly have been blessed and would like to hear from others who may want or need my support or encouragement.  It is like a new chance at a new life.
